Who We Are
We are a Jamaican based non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of people – young and old.
“It is more blessed to give than to receive”. I discovered this truth from a child, but experienced real joy when in 1998, I was moved to provide a generator for the inmates at Fort Augusta Correctional Centre. The British High Commission supported this venture by donating and installing the generator and gave birth to my mission as a benefactor.
Every year I send letters to individuals and companies, apprising them of my projects and soliciting their assistance. We have been blessed in our efforts and my administrator and myself ensure strict accountability of all funds. We are a Jamaican based non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of people – young and old. Thanks to my many friends across the diaspora, JMOM is able to make this world a better place, one small corner at a time.
“Hungry men have no respect for law, authority or human life.” – Marcus Mosiah Garvey.
We have a moral obligation therefore, to feed the hungry, if we can. JMOM takes this opportunity to thank all those individuals and companies who have partnered with us over the years to help us in our big vision to feed the hungry, especially our children. We invite you to support our sponsors and make a donation to help us continue.
